Vintage Photograph of Jim Morrison, 1967
This is an very rare vintage photograph of Jim Morrison of The Doors. It was taken by Joel Brodsky, in New York City in 1967. The photograph is personally stamped by the Gloria Stavers studio, editor of 16 magazine, with handwritten notes.
This came from the private collection of the legendary Danny Fields; who signed the MC5, signed and managed Iggy and The Stooges, managed the Ramones and worked in various roles with Jim Morrison, the Velvet Underground and the Modern Lovers.
Joel Brodsky was an American photographer best known for his photography of musicians, particularly his iconic "Young Lion" photographs of Jim Morrison. In his lifetime, he is credited with photographing over 400 album covers.
