Gloria Stavers Photography Collection

Gloria Stavers (1927–1983) was an American editor, writer, and photographer whose work helped shape the visual culture of popular music during the 1960s and 1970s. As the longtime editor-in-chief and chief photographer of 16 Magazine, she created memorable celebrity portraits that brought fans closer to the musicians and entertainers who defined a generation.
