Brad Elterman is an American photographer whose work helped define the visual culture of 1970s rock ‘n’ roll. Based in Beverly Hills, California, he became one of the era’s most recognizable chroniclers of music, celebrity, and Hollywood, capturing the energy and personalities that shaped a generation.

Elterman launched his career at just 16 years old after photographing Bob Dylan in concert in 1974 and successfully selling the image. From that moment, he gained unprecedented access to many of the biggest names in music, documenting legendary artists during some of the most influential years in rock history.
