Cheyenne Randall Artwork Collection

Cheyenne Randall, also known by the artistic name Indian Giver, is a contemporary mixed-media artist whose work explores the intersection of Indigenous identity, American history, popular culture, and personal narrative. An enrolled member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe, Randall has developed a distinctive visual language that combines photography, digital manipulation, painting, large-scale installations, and mixed-media techniques to challenge perceptions and reimagine familiar imagery.
Randall first gained international recognition through his groundbreaking Shopped Tattoos series, in which he digitally reimagined iconic historical and celebrity portraits with meticulously rendered tattoos. The project attracted widespread attention for its originality and sparked conversations about identity, symbolism, and contemporary visual culture.
Expanding beyond digital works, Randall has created large-scale public installations through his ongoing Pasting the West project, placing monumental wheat-paste artworks on abandoned structures throughout the American West. His work often reflects themes of impermanence, memory, resilience, and the evolving relationship between Indigenous traditions and modern society.
Working across multiple mediums, Randall continues to push the boundaries between fine art, photography, and contemporary mixed-media practice. His artworks have been exhibited internationally and commissioned by private collectors, cultural institutions, and commercial clients, earning recognition for their originality, technical innovation, and compelling visual storytelling.
Today, Cheyenne Randall’s work is celebrated for its bold artistic vision and its ability to bridge history, culture, and contemporary art. His distinctive creations invite viewers to reconsider familiar narratives while exploring identity, heritage, and the enduring power of visual expression.
